better作比较级时可用far、 much、even来修饰，但不可用more, very修饰。

had better的意思是“最好”、“应该”，常用来提出建议，语气较强，一般强调如果不这样做会有不好的后果，后接动词原形，其中的had通常缩略为‘d，其否定形式为had better not do sth.，而构成疑问式时，则通常将had置于主语之前 例：You'd better not do that again. 你最好别再这样做了。 Hadn’t we better tell them Liam is sick? 我们是不是最好告诉他们利亚姆病了？
